Tasting Notes

100% Listán Negro, aged three months in used American and French oak. Juan Jesús is a proud native of Tenerife and along with his wife have worked to catalogue and preserve imperiled indigenous grape varieties. This is Bodegas Viñátigo's younger vines Listán Negro that fermented with native yeasts. Aged for 3 months in a combination of (used) American and French oak barrels. The result is a delicious, accessible, light on its feet red wine that you can enjoy today.
