Staff Pick Notes

If you’re in need of an apértif or a quick toast for two, then make sure you snag this bottle. Yves Pertois and his wife Janine Moriset are both from grape growing families, but began bottling their own juice in the early 1950s. They are also members of the Club de Trésors, an organization of 28 members committed to the utmost excellence in making their own wines from fruit they've also grown themselves. If you've ever seen a Special Club Champagne, this is the club's highest honor offered to its members. This 100% Chardonnay comes from mature vines lovingly tended with minimal intervention. Crisp and clean, this is a lemony, palate-cleansing treat when paired with pre-meal charcuterie.

It is a flexible, eager-to-please grape, responding well to just about anything a winemaker...
