Demi-sec Champagnes have a perceptible sweetness to them however are not technically dessert Champagnes. That being said, this comes from the remarkable producer with vines planted in the chalky soils of the region. The fruit comes from the Grand Cru village of Chouilly and we couldn't find a more appropriate terroir to balance the residual sugar.

Demi-sec Champagne is essentially bottled joy. The sensuous and lively bubbles paired with an old-school touch of perceptible sugar truly lift my spirits. Demi-sec is much maligned, yet in the olden days would have been considered one of the drier styles of Champagne.
