The sleepy village of Babaresco has 600 inhabitants and the famous Tower of Barbaresco under which this tiny winery is located. With a mere hectare of 50 year old Pora vines, the production is minimal. The soils are purely chalk coming from the sea that covered the area millions of years ago.

Piedmont

The most famous grape in Piedmont is the noble Nebbiolo, which makes the long-lived Barolo and Barbaresco.
