Silvano Follador makes Prosecco that is vintage dated and in a style that is much drier than what you generally see on the market. The grapes comes from several vineyards - including a large portion from the Cartizze. The primary fermentation took place with indigenous yeasts. This prosecco is fresh, fragrant and dry on the palate. More than an apéritif sparkling wine but a wine you can enjoy throughout a dinner. Excellent with tempura or fried crab.

Glossary

Prosecco

Until recently, "Prosecco" could refer either to a wine or to a white grape. In 2009, however, the grape was renamed "Glera" in a bid to protect Prosecco's good name. Prosecco is usually a sparkling wine made by the Charmat method, though still versions do exist. Because it is so easy to drink, with or without food, Prosecco is a hugely popular choice for parties.
