Staff Pick Notes

Nothing makes me happier than finding a genuinely great bottle for a bargain. Dom. de Cassagnoles Cotes de Gascoyne is a perfect house white - bright, juicy, fruity, and refreshing, with a clean mineral edge. This wine is a fruit basket (lemon, green apple, peach, white nectarine) strewn with garlands of flowers (honeysuckle, white blossom) and fresh green herbs. It can be a great aperitif, the ideal companion for light fish dishes, salads, and cheeses, or simply an afternoon sipper. One should have a bottle chilling in the fridge at all times!
