Tasting Notes

A great Fino that was made from the Palomino grape and aged under flor for three years before bottling. Dating to 1821, Barbadillo is the reference house of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. They own all their own vines, vinify all their own base wines, and age their sherries in their historic bodega which is exposed to the fresh sea breezes wafting the area.

Fino Sherry works fantastically as an aperitif, as it pairs particularly well with...

Palomino

Accounting for over 90% of the vine plantings in Jerez, this relatively neutral grape provides the ideal “blank canvas” for the creation of fabulously complex Sherries (much like the Ugni Blanc grape does in Cognac).
