Bogle Merlot is a wine that doesn’t require lots of thought, but will elicit lots of enjoyment. The nose offers notes of strawberry jam and spicy oak, while the palate is soft and dense. Bogle Merlot does very well on its own and does not need food to bring out its jammy, plump, plummy notes. This wine reminds us of happy evenings spent with a bowl of buttery popcorn and some trashy TV.
