Tasting Notes

Glenfarclas is admired the world over by Scotch lovers for their quality driven ethos guided by their adherence to old school methods. One of the very few remaining independent family owned makes of single malt Scotch, the distillery's use of direct fire pot stills and exclusive maturation in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks makes for some of the most distinctive and desired whisky to be found anywhere in Speyside. The 10yr shows emerging elements of a complexity that develops slowly over decades in cask, with notes of dried orchard fruits, baking spices, baked cereals, and rich sherry.
