Lately, I've been diving into any bottle of Canadian whisky I can get my hands on. I’ve discovered a lot of great bottles, but I think Caribou Crossing champions the qualities that make Canadian whisky unique. The bouquet is a childhood breakfast, fresh cereal, sliced apples, and a drizzle of light honey. The palate, while smooth and creamy, has powerful notes of peppermint candy, spice cookies, sweet vanilla, and chocolate Maltesers. Canadian whisky has the grace to be delicate while still retaining its complexity. My suggestion, use this to convert your non-whisky drinking friends. One of us! One of us!
