Tasting Notes

This gin has a base of organic New York State wheat with botanicals such as juniper berries, lemon peel, grapefruit peel, rosemary, and ginger. This handcrafted gin has a great depth of character to it – just like Brooklyn, where it is distilled.

Staff Pick Notes

Great gin is known for its intoxicating seductiveness. The highly aromatic blend of botanicals that makes gin unique and the clean fresh taste it provides with a striking degree of complexity is what has made it one of the world’s preeminent spirits. However, even something this beautiful can be made ugly when you take the art and soul out of it in the name of your bottom line. Luckily for us, Brad Estabrooke is attempting to balance out those scales a little when he started making gin at his newly established Breuckelen Distilling Company, in Brooklyn.Made from a neutral wheat spirit and a blend of five distinct botanicals, this gin is made from start to finish, raw ingredients to bottling at the distillery by Brad himself. Clean and vibrant on the nose, fresh on the palate, exceptionally balanced and most importantly, fun to drink!
