Tasting Notes
Made from Moscato grapes rather than the pomace. Like a walk in a Sicilian orchard in the Spring, flowery words do not begin to describe the effusive aromatics on this digestif. Complex and evolving, lime peels in a peony bath and fresh almond skin.

Staff Pick Notes
I've staff picked so many Capovilla products now, you'd think they were paying me! Alas, no. I've simply developed a love of Signiori Capovilla's ability to create supremely well-made distillates with a true sense of terrior and their source ingredients.
Rather than using pomace (the leftovers from winemaking), this spirit is made from the varietal Moscato, resulting in a true eau-de-vie. It shows a level of purity and freshness that is rarely found in spirits.
Tasting it, I was reminded of walking through the flower market in Amsterdam after a spring rain. White rose, lilies, tulips, jasmine, and concentrated flower oils permeate the nose and palate. The finish is long and with notes of menthol and citrus.
A wonderful alternative for a grappa, gin, or aquavit drinker seeking new territory.
