An old school vermouth in all the right ways from a maverick producer based in Asti Vergano uses local moscato and cortese grapes as the base for a blend of herbs that includes marjoram, thyme, basil and oregano. Incredibly well balanced and excellent on its own, Vergano delivers a polished nearly pitch perfect bianco.

A beautiful, complex, sweet, full-bodied, bianco vermouth! A lovely balance of moderate bitterness and supple sweetness. Structurally based on wormwood and gentian root, which presents itself quite eloquently in the mid palate with citrus and herbs that liven up the entire experience. This is a sublime example of what Italian vermouth is all about. Enjoy neat, on the rocks, with tonic or soda water, or (my personal favorite) in a martini, using either a bold gin or a a really high quality, character-driven vodka.
