Tasting Notes

Meant to be the benchmark and anchor in a portfolio of whiskies that takes some wild and wonderful turns the Laddie Scottish Barley is unpeated, un-chillfiltered, and one of the best and most unique expressions of Islay whisky available anywhere. Salt, sea, heather, grass, malt, honey, and more come together for a refreshingly drinkable experience.

Staff Pick Notes

I am asked over and over again, “What’s one of your favorite everyday drams?” The Laddie. Layered malt flavors along with sea salt, clover honey, granny smith apples, heather, and dry hay. The texture is rich and warming from the alcohol but never teeters towards too hot. The array of fruit and savory flavors makes for a satisfying whisky that refreshes the palate rather than drying it out. This is not an easy feat. An entry level whisky that punches far above its weight class.
