Tasting Notes

Beautiful, rare, well maintained liter bottles of Barolo based, chinato style fortified exlir from one of the greats of Piedmont. These bottles must come from at least the 1970s and were sourced from a private cellar in Piedmont where they had stayed untouched for decades. While there is some natural staining on the labels for the time in cellar, the fills are above the neck and the original seals and tax stamps intact.
