Tasting Notes
This proudly traditional independent Scotch distiller commands legions of followers for its uncompromisingly old school stylings. The Local Barley expressions speak to some of the best of these traditions. Utilizing Optic barley from the nearby Cattadale Farm, the grains are floor malted at the distillery, prior to distillation. This expression was created from spirit distilled in July 2009 and bottled from the matured whisky stocks from this batch in October of 2018. The release was limited to 9,700 bottles worldwide.
