Baronía de Turis Spanish Vermouth

Item # 40215 750mL

A deeply floral, highly aromatic sessionable Spanish vermut. The white wine base shines through the botanical bouquet with bright acidity lifting all of the crisp flavors on the palate and highlighting additional notes of bitter orange and carmelized apples. Ideally served well chilled. A perfectly fine refreshing apéritif on its own, this is a natural match for myriad small appetizers and snacks as well.

It was a hit and not just because it's delicious (which it is). If you want to drink vermouth à la España, serve this cold with a splash of club soda or sifón, Spain's version of the same. A twist of citrus won't hurt either. It works wonders with salty cheeses, olives, Marcona almonds, pan con tomate, or boquerones with pickled peppers. Viva España!

In Rioja, Navarra, and the Ribera del Duero (which have the most stringent requirements) red Crianzas must be aged a minimum of two years; Reservas, at least three...
