Stellum Spirits Cask Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey

A new project from the Barrell Bourbon crew. For Stellum the same attention to detail and committment to quality that Barrell has become known for is applied for custom small batch blends that are bottled at full proof and an even better value. These whiskies do indeed punch above many others in the same class. This bourbon has a deep mahogany color and the rich notes that come from extended time maturing in heavy charred American Oak casks giving this whiskey an old bourbon feel without the crazy price tag. The big flavors carry through on the palate due to the high proof but feel free to experiment with this in cocktails and we loved it on the rocks.
