Barrell Bourbon Gold Label 16yr Bourbon Whiskey

Is this the top whiskey that this already excellent bottler has put out to date - by some measures definitely so. Blended from a tiny portion of their absolute best (and oldest) Bourbon barrels from the golden triangle that is Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. The whiskey from each barrel was aged a minimum of 16yrs before being considered for this inaugural release. Prior to bottling this batch was finished in new toasted American Oak barrels and, as always, bottled at natural cask strength. The whiskey has the pedigree and palate of any of the greatest American Whiskies in this rarefied space. Very limited.
