Already one of the most historic operating distilleries in the world, Mount Gay went old school and avant garde with this release, taking a 100% double pot still rum from a single batch and finishing it in extremely rare Andean Wood casks made from evergreens that grow in the high altitudes of Columbia. Aged for over 14yrs on the island and bottled at 96 proof, the rum is fulll of spices, mint, dried tropical fruits and honey. Exceptional and rare.
