A very unique Austrian specialty made from the fruit of Alpine Stone Pine Trees. It has a very complex smoky, piney flavor and the finish is quite dry.
This is the perfect ingredient for holiday cocktails! Zirbenz is an artisanal, natural liqueur that draws it's flavor and beautiful red color from the Arolla Stone Pine. Harvesters must first ascend to high elevations then climb the trees to pick the fruit at peek season. It's exceptionally smooth and slightly sweet with a beautiful dry floral pine finish. Try it in this simple, seasonal holiday cocktail: Royal Tannenbaum, 2oz. Gin (London dry style like Beefeater), 1/2oz. Zirbenz, 1/4oz. simple syrup. Shake ingredients until shaker is icy cold.
