In another historic collaboration, David Suro of Siembra Spriits has spent years dreaming about making a traditional tequila the way it was originally made and he has finally found an able partner in Master Distiller Salvador Rosales Torres. This is essentially tequila as mezcal, going back to where it began made using only manual methods including hand crushing the agaves with wooden mallets, roasting them in earthern ovens and distilling them in wooden pot stills. This spirit clearly possesses more depth and complexity than average without losing the prized refinement and elegance of high end tequilas. It is perhaps the best tequila we have ever tasted. A real must try.

Ever have a product that caused you to rethink your whole approach to the entire category? This Tequila did that for me. It is the type of spirit that makes you want to take an hour just to appreciate the aromatics. It is certainly one of the most complex Tequilas I've ever had. It is made in a traditional method and has smokey notes, similar to a mezcal, but the beautiful agave character stands out. In addition, the slightly high 50% ABV is well integrated into the spirit. I'm usually not into hyperbole, but this is one of the best Tequilas on the market right now. Very, Very special.
