Tasting Notes

A mouth-watering Chardonnay with lush citrus and apple flavors. Leaner in style with just a hint of oak influence. A delicious pairing with salmon rillettes and oysters. Fire heath is an indigenous fynbos plant (Afrikaans for fire brush). Fire Heath plant indicates the terroir of the valley and is very important to the final characteristics of the wine. It consists of free-draining, low potential and slightly acidic soils, which naturally gives life to open fields.
