Shipping Outside New York State

Orders are shipped via UPS or Fedex by Ground Delivery only, or you may choose to pick up your order at our New York City store location. If you select the shipping option, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. There is an optional 1% charge for insurance against breakage and loss, which you can decline at checkout. UPS and FedEx orders do not ship out on Saturday or Sunday. UPS or Fedex will contact you within two business days from the day your order is shipped with your tracking number, shipping date, and anticipated delivery date.

For all orders to be delivered to states other than New York, California and Washington D.C., once your purchase is complete, you hereby authorize us to transfer your purchased items to a third party shipping company that works with UPS or Fedex. Because of this transfer, delivery may take up to 13 business days. You hereby agree to take sole responsibility for complying with all laws regarding importation of alcohol into your state. Title to, and ownership of, all alcoholic beverages passes from Astor Wines & Spirits to buyer in the State of New York, which is why we charge New York sales tax on your order.

During times of extreme heat or cold, we will gladly hold your purchases until we can ensure safer travel. If you opt to have your order shipped during such extreme weather, Astor cannot assume responsibility for the condition of your wines upon delivery.
