Tasting Notes
A transplanted family from Champagne chose the micro-climates of New Mexico for the richness of the grapes that the area produced. The result is a fine sparkler combining very ripe fruit and a nice round texture.

Staff Pick Notes
This is without a doubt my go-to American sparkling wine. Produced since 1989 by French transplants employing the méthode champenoise, Gruet Brut is top quality stuff. Made from 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir, this bubbly is full-bodied and carries refreshing notes of grapefruit, green apple, and lime zest.
Now I already know what you're thinking: they make wine in New Mexico? Have no fear - the Gruet family moved to the US from the Champagne region and discovered ideal sparkling winemaking conditions in Southwestern New Mexico's soils and microclimate. A true product of the American Dream, it is perfect for cocktail hour sipping, seafood dinner pairing, or alternative summer spritzing. Tasty and refreshing, there are few better values than this first-rate USA sparkler.
