Tasting Notes

Made from the Negroamaro grape in the region of Apulia, in Southern Italy, this delicious wine represents great value. Black fruit flavors combine with a slight herbal edge and finishes with firm tannins.

Staff Pick Notes

A rare treat of an affordable priced wine with 10 years of age that is drinking wonderfully right now. Salice Salentino is not an overly tannic wine to begin with, but here it transforms with bottle age from a classic but rustic table red into a wine character and refinement. Made from 90% Negroamaro, 10% Malvasia Nera on the heel of the boot of Italy in Puglia.
