The Sclavos winery has made an intriguing, old vines (50 yrs+) Mavrodaphne. Fermented with ambient yeasts in open top vats then matured in 225 liter oak barrels or a year. This is a wilder wine with aromas of musk yet plenty of primary dark fruit to add balance. Full of character and giving on the palate. You could enjoy this with a light chill.
