Staff Pick Notes

SPRING AND SUMMER

You found the spring season in a bottle. The Bisol brand of Prosecco has been popular since the 70's. Popular because they are good. This Prosecco had a classic bright straw color with tiny bubbles. It has aromas of fresh lemon and linen. The taste was fresh, bright and lively citrus/lemon. But there is nothing sweet here, Prosecco should always be dry. Google it and find blogs of food pairing suggestions. It goes good with all except sweet or spicy. ENJOY !

Glossary

Prosecco

Until recently, "Prosecco" could refer either to a wine or to a white grape. In 2009, however, the grape was renamed "Glera" in a bid to protect Prosecco's good name. Prosecco is usually a sparkling wine made by the Charmat method, though still versions do exist. Because it is so easy to drink, with or without food, Prosecco is a hugely popular choice for parties.
