Located in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, Berkshire Mountain Distillers is the first legal distillery in the Berkshires since prohibition. This award-winning gin is hand crafted using historic spring waters that flow directly from the mountains near the Appalachian Trail to the grounds of the distillery. This "Americanized" London dry gin style has a more apparent flavor, a great deal of licorice with some citrus and juniper. The sweetness lingers, as well. Since the Berkshires are close to NY, it is almost like buying local!
