Tasting Notes

A finely tuned - Rosé yielding great finesse on the nose and palate. This Rosé from one of Bandol's most traditional producers with enviable vineyards gives wonderfully citrus aromas, pleasant floral tones along a base of clean apricot. Ample and complex in the mouth, a natural freshness with swathes of grainy mineral underscore the wine's acidity. Bandol's quality Rosés are a step above all else in the region. The can keep a few years, softening around the edges and becoming more complex. A fine pairing with Nicoise Salad, crustaceans, like prawns, white fleshed meats, charcuterie and exotic cuisine.

Vines in Bandol are grown in very meager soils of gravel, clay, and limestone: this, combined with the hot, dry coastal climate, gives these thick-skinned berries exactly what they need in order to...
