A deep Nebbiolo, brilliantly garnet with all the classic elements of red flowers, fruit, and tar. Open and expressive already. This structured Barolo will develop well for many years to come. Decant and serve with gamey meats, earthy pastas, and ripe, melted cheeses. Rocche di Castiglione is a beautiful, narrow vineyard on top of the “Rocche,” or cliffs. The mother rock is close to the surface, yielding wines of incredible grace.
