Production Methods

Certified Organic

Wine made from grapes grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides in the vineyard. Certified in the country of origin.

Tasting Notes

This wine pays homage to a style of winemaking from the Middle Ages. It's unique in that it's mostly a blend of the aromatic white Fernão Pires grape (80%) with some added color from the red Trincadeira. Not quite a red so we're calling this a rosé all the while nodding to history.

The locals down bottles of this stuff with salt cod and hard cheeses, and it will drink amazingly with any salty or oily snacks and grilled foods, as well as summer salads with fruit.

They also show their terroir quite clearly, and represent a great alternative to the modern fruit-driven...
