A blend of mostly Grenache with a bit of Cinsault, these old vines had previosuly been abandoned. Revived with great care and biodiversity, this dry red is vinified and aged in stainless steel. With medium structure, pungent dark fruits and garrigue, this is a dark and earthy wine. Pair with smoked pork ribs with 5 spice.

This wine is a blend of Grenache Noir and Cinsault. It is bottled without fining or filtration.It's aged on fine lees in stainless stills tanks for nine months. Corbieres, in the Languedoc region of France, is mostly famous for cooperatives producing "average" wine. Lately improvements have been made to raise the quality of the wines of the region. This wine is an example of this process: "Les Clos Perdus" means in French "The lost Vineyards". The producers found a very steep and remote area, unreachable by machine, perfect for creating an earthy multi layered great wine. On the nose you will notice raspberry and citrus. In the palate you will enjoy dried herbs, plums, minerality and a long finish. Complex and fun to drink at the same time!
