Tasting Notes

Old Forester has one of the most storied histories in all of Bourbon. The legacy is still very much alive and well in their current range. While all those bottlings have their specific attributes and differences, the culminate in these rare barrel proof single barrels that are barely filtered. We selected this barrel that was originally filled on February 15th, 2018 and bottled on September 22nd 2022. after aging in Warehouse 1 on the 2nd Floor. The magic in these bottles is part of what has made these releases so coveted, they manage to taste like very old Bourbons, without all the extra bitter oak and tannins. The definition of extraordinary.
