Domaine Louis Dupuy 9yr Single Cask Bas Armagnac - 2014

We hand selected this expression after tasting it directly out of barrel at the domaine. Bottled completely unadulterated and at a powerful cask strength of 52% abv. The austere, dry and laser focused style of this domaine makes these brandies stand out from a typical range of Armagnacs that can sometimes lean either too sweet or too tannic. At nine years, this is amazingly still considered young for this category but already hitting above its weight with punchy notes that bring to mind heady Jamaican rum or well seasoned Bourbon. A beautiful, honest, no frills brandy.
