Pinhook Vertical Series 8 Year Straight Rye Whiskey - 2024

Every year the whiskey gets older and the amount of barrels to draw from fewer, making this truly one of the most remarkable series of the past decade for American whiskey if you've been following along. If you haven't you are lucky to have the benefit of the fact that these older batches are pouring over with superlatives. This expression was created from a batch of 32 barrels and bottled at a healthy batch strength of 54.2% abv. There are notes of seemingly everything from - orange zest, green apple, brown sugar, cinnamon and smoky deep oak spices. Outstanding.
