A stunning white wine from a little-known corner of northeast Spain called Empordà. This is made from a blend of Lledoner Blanc and Roig which are also known as Grenache Blanc and Gris. Aromas of quince and mineral. Aged in neutral oak barrels for 9 months.

Espelt Viticultors is the home of Anna Espelt who has been organically farming her family’s estate since 2005. She has also been pursuing a more personal project on 25 hectares of vineyards in the wind-swept granite, sand, and clay soils in the Cap de Creus National Park. The Mas Marés vineyard. It is from these vines of Grenache Blanc and Gris that Anna Espelt crafts the bottle with us here. A shining glass of White wine leading with a delicate lemon and ripe pear freshness. A crisp and cleansing sip to be sure, you will note the salt air of the nearby ocean. Leaning into the depth and texture of the Grenache varietal, this wine was briefly left on he skins and then rested in large oak tanks. This combination of winemaking brilliance and varietal puirity is a glass not to be missed!
