A delicate but driven expression of the style, this Granacha based wine hits all the right spots. While Priorat is known for showing heavy oak influence and deep tannic structure, this option strays a bit away from that with a more subtle and rounded character all the way through. This wine sees just enough time in old oak to balance out the rich character of the Granacha at its base without having the heft many of this style carry. With touches of spice, deep fruit, and wonderful floral overtones it is hard not to keep coming back for more. For someone that is looking for a Spanish option that shows the structure of the region but with less of the heavy oak often seen in these styles this is the wine for you!
