The Stars of Alsace: Baur

Charles Baur's vineyards are located on the finest slopes of Alsace's Eguisheim and its immediate vicinity. The wines made here are rich, concentrated, and typically dry. For this tasting, we'll be opening the delicious, traditionally vinified Crémant d'Alsace, along with the 2012 "Herrenweg" Pinot Blanc. These are iconic wines from an iconic producer, so be sure to stop by for a taste.

The Serious Sprits of Hacienda Santa Teresa

Aged in American white oak and French Limousin oak, the rums of Hacienda Santa Teresa are serious spirits. Some of these rums--like the Solera cuvée--have been aged for over 25 years prior to release. For your drinking enjoyment, we'll be opening the entry-level Añejo Gran Reserva (aged two years) as well as the top-level cuvée, the 1796 Solera.These show-stoppers will make you wonder why you haven't spent more time sipping rum neat.

Meinklang: An Austrian Gem

Meinklang is a unique entity; for over 20 years, these iconoclastic producers have sought to live among nature. This estate, which is run by the Michlits family, practices organic and Biodynamic farming on their own land. The pride of the estate is the herd of angus cattle, which provides fertilizer and a source of income for this family-run winery. We'll be tasting two wines from this incredible Austrian gem, including the white Hárslevelu from the 2012 vintage and the "Prosa" Frizzante Rosé from the 2013 vintage. Taste Austria with us!

Ilegal Mezcal: Finally Legal

Born out of John Rexer's bar, Café No Sé, a watering hole in Antigua, Guatamala, Ilegal Mezcal is an artisanal spirit that enjoys a clandestine history, which includes smuggling and festive parties. Rexer was making this mezcal in Mexico and smuggling it into Guatamala in duffel bags. And so the name Ilegal was born. We'll be tasting three iterations of this now-legal mezcal, including the introductory Joven, the mid-range Añejo, and the aged Reposado. Get your bootlegging boots ready. It's time to party.

La Grange Tiphaine: An Ode to the Loire
