Gilbert Gruet planted his vines back in the early 80s and soon began making sparkling wine in the classic méthode champenoise style. Today his son Laurent—and daughter Natalie—are at the helm and still carrying on this tradition.
Their French roots are evident in the wines, which have all the character and refinement of far more expensive bottles. This Blanc de Noir is a blend of 75% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and is bone dry with fine bubbles and notes of lemon pith, apple skin, raspberry, and a mineral streak.
