Tasting Notes

Edition three in this annual series from Macallan pairs Master Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno with Master Perfumer Roja Dove for what is by far the most impressive release yet in this range. The aromas are so enticing you'll find it necessary to force yourself away just to get around to tasting the whisky. While the flavors jump and burst out in different directions, they are masterfully reined in by a core DNA of unmistakable classic Macallan malt. The tasting notes from the masters drawn from six unique cask types are spot on and they include fresh citrus, dried flowers, vanilla ice cream, rich fruit cake burnished oak and preserved oranges. A wild ride well worth the price of admission.
