A powerful, vinous Champagne made from 100% Pinot Meunier. 20% reserve wine 2017 completed with 80% wine from harvest 2018, 20% of which is from Béguines. Jérôme Prévost's Champagne La Closerie was founded in 1998, after taking over his grandmother's two hectares vineyard of Les Beguines, planted with massale selection Meunier in the Montagne de Reims village of Gueux. He began working at Jacques Selosse and in 1998, with the help of Anselme Selosse, he began producing tiny quantities of his own wine in the Selosse cellars in Avize.
