Staff Pick Notes

The Delaware grape, native to the Eastern United States, has quite the history in American wine lore! With writings dating to the 1800s, Delaware was seen as a top quality grape for sparkling wines, and is just as delicious today! With charming aromatics and just enough of that characteristic “grapey” note that these native varietals are known for, this grape contains the essence of the Finger Lakes. This bottling was made in the method ancestral style, which halts fermentation early and allows it to continue in the bottle. Ultimately, this creates a downright delicious bottle of bubbly. Flavors of citrus, green apple, and more come together to showcase the best elements of New York viticulture history!
