An Alsatian Pinot Noir that comes from 45 year old vines that are planted in a mix of soils based on loess, loam and limestone. The grapes were hand-harvested and whole-bunch macerated and then fermented with native yeasts. Aged in large old oak foudres for 10 months before bottling unfiltered.
