Macvin is made from unfermented Savagnin fortified with marc. This sweet and unctuous dessert wine is then aged in used barrels. The Savagnin juice is in fact Château-Chalon. Aromas of dried fruits, herbs, and a savory character round out this stupendous dessert wine. Pair with a curated cheese plate, and enjoy at the end of a dinner party.
