Enitrely ungrafted Nerello Mascalese that is over 100 years old from contrada Barbabecchi on the north of Mount Etna. The grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed. Aging both in epoxy tank and bottle each for 18 months before release. Magma was not made in 2018, and these grapes would have gone into the estate's top wine in the best years. Pair this lighter-bodied dry red with rabbit in agrodolce.
