A first of its kind, the whiskey for this release was aged in casks that were seasoned with the backset of a batch of whiskey, reminicent of a wine practice of aging a wine on its own lees. The process gives the whiskey a supple, rounded texture and an excellent integration of all the different flavors. We love to see this kind of experimentation in the whiskey world. Available in limited quantities.
