One of the greatest rums produced in the past generation? Very possibly so. And we may have never known if it hadn't been for Alexandre Gabriel's quixotic quest with this spirit that lead to him recently to purchase the fabled West Indies Distillery on Barbados, where this rum was distilled way back in 1986. Aged for an almost unimaginable 35yrs and bottled from a single cask at a natural cask strength the total yield for this one off masterpiece was 286 bottles for the world. Each bottle comes with a certificate of authenticity with the unique bottle number and the personal signature of Alexandre Gabriel himself.
