High Coast Berg Spanish Oak Single Malt Whisky

With all of the interest in whisky these days it should come as no surprise that there are excellent whiskies being made even here in the far northern reaches of Sweden. What's perhaps even more remarkable is the fact that this tiny outfit has been at it since 2010. The whiskies have always been good, but with some time now they are even better, more distinctive and finally available in the US. This expression makes a serious impact on the palate in no small part due to the premium Spanish Oak Sherry Casks that this batch was finished in. Seriously delicious. No artificial coloring, no chill-filtration.
