The majority of batch 7 is Kilchoman to the bone with 70% comprised of ex-bourbon cask matured stocks and 5% ex-sherry. The remaining balance was blended from a very small rare parcel of whisky aged in a shaved, toasted and recharred (STR) red wine cask from the Douro Valley in Portugal. Bottled at 100 proof, this is one of the most satisfying whiskies you will taste all year. Limited to 1,278 bottles for the world.
